Frequently asked questions about metal scrap collection
On this page, you can find answers to frequently asked questions about metal scrap collection, roll-off container supply and the delivery of metals to our facility in Fontanafredda.
Truccolo Angelo SRL supports businesses, craft professionals and private individuals with the recovery of iron, steel, copper, brass, aluminium and other metal materials. If you cannot find the answer you are looking for, contact us: we will assess the material and identify the most suitable service for your needs.
Which types of metal scrap do you collect?
We collect iron, steel, copper, brass, aluminium, lead, electrical cables and other non-ferrous metals. If you have any doubts about a specific material, send us a photo or contact us before the collection.
Do you provide roll-off containers for businesses?
Yes. We provide roll-off containers for the collection of metal scrap at businesses, workshops, metal fabrication companies and construction sites. We define the most suitable solution based on the material, quantity, available space and collection frequency.
Do you also collect scrap from private individuals?
Yes. We also manage scrap collections from private individuals for old iron, copper, brass, aluminium, electrical cables and other non-hazardous metal scrap. Before the service, we assess the type and quantity of material together.
Which areas do you operate in?
Our facility is located in Fontanafredda, in the province of Pordenone. We mainly operate in Pordenone, Friuli Venezia Giulia and the Triveneto area; for requests outside our standard service area, we assess the service based on the material, quantity and location.
How can I request a collection?
You can call us, send an email or fill out the contact form. To organise the service, it is useful to provide information about the material, estimated quantity, location and access conditions of the collection site.
Do you also collect electrical cables?
Yes. We manage electrical cables and copper cables from installations, maintenance activities, dismantling operations, production activities and construction sites.
Which materials do you not accept?
We do not handle hazardous waste, asbestos-containing materials, batteries, vehicles, fire extinguishers or other pressurised containers. If you are unsure, please contact us before delivery or requesting collection.
Do you also manage packaging, paper, cardboard and wood?
Yes. In addition to metal scrap, we can also manage certain complementary business materials, such as packaging, paper, cardboard and wood. Feasibility must always be assessed based on the material type and applicable authorisations.
Is the collection accompanied by the required documentation?
For the waste managed through our service, we organise transport in compliance with applicable requirements. The collection and transport of waste require registration with the Italian National Register of Environmental Managers; for businesses, documentation is defined according to the material and the specific case.
Can I deliver materials directly to your facility?
Yes, exclusively with a waste identification form. The only exception applies to raw materials transported without a waste identification form, which must come exclusively from authorised facilities in accordance with EU Regulations 333/2011 and 715/2013.
How should I prepare the scrap for collection?
Whenever possible, separate materials by type, such as iron, copper, brass, aluminium and electrical cables. Avoid mixing non-metallic materials or non-accepted waste; for larger quantities, also provide details about the material location and site accessibility.
Can I request support with environmental documentation?
Yes, we can provide operational guidance related to the collection and transport service. Waste traceability obligations depend on the parties involved and the type of waste; RENTRI regulates waste register and FIR (Waste Identification Form) models, while MUD is the annual declaration relating to waste produced or managed during the previous year.
